​Many of our wounds occur within our most trusted relationships causing us to have difficulties getting close to loved ones, friends and colleagues. Also, we become disconnected from ourselves when we experience trauma, depression, or disruptions in relationships.Experience has shown me the value of a healing connection to help us move passed these wounds. My job as a counsellor will be to create a safe and nurturing relationship with you, so you can allow yourself to explore new possibilities, discover choices that you may not have known you had, and ultimately to heal.

What I have learned through supporting clients with trauma is that everyone has an inner capacity to heal and transform. Trauma does not have to be a life-long sentence. In my practice, I help teenagers and adults to reclaim their livelihood from trauma, build a healthier and congruent relationship with themselves, and bring more alignment between mind and body. So they can cultivate more freedom, conscious choice, and aliveness in their everyday lives.

If depression has been part of your life story, I would like to invite you to pause for a second and ask the following question: Who are you, what your life story would be, and what dreams, hopes, things you would do if there is no depression? Sometimes our deepest despair is here to tell us something, maybe is here to help us reconnect with a disowned part, a lost dream, a deep desire to live and transform. In my practice, I use narrative therapy to help you to discover and rewrite your story with depression.

Many of our wounds are created within relationships, whether they are with loved ones, families, friends, colleagues, strangers, or with ourselves, therefore, we can also heal from said relationships. My job as a counsellor is to create a safe and nurturing relationship with you, so you can begin to explore your attachment styles, communication patterns, understanding your triggers and people around you. Together we can practice new skills, heal early attachment wounds, and discover choices that you may not have known you had, and ultimately to develop more positive and nurturing relationships in your life.
